That was astonishing! I don't consider that "shredding" because even though it's fast and there's improv added that Randy Rhoads solo has too much distinctive phrasing in it to be just "ripping up the fretboard harmonically" which what I think of as "shredding" and that's not to to say "shredding" is less artistic.
Most of those added improv notes fit just right and put Garret's personal signature on the Rhoads solo. Congrats!
