Marzena N. piano, bassoon, music theory Culver City, CA

Marzena was trained as a classical pianist and bassoonist  at Wroclaw Music Academy in Poland, where she graduated distinctively as a music major. She continued her education at the University Of Southern California , where she completed her Post Graduate Professional Music Diploma.

For the past 15 years, Marzena has been teaching children (ages 5 and up) at the Old Town Music Co. in Pasadena as well as her home studio in Culver City. While she tailors her teaching style to best fit the needs of each individual student, she provides all her students with thorough technical, theoretical and musical training. Her aim is to pass on not only the love for music, but the tools necessary to make music at a high level.

Though her own training and the training she provides her students is based on the Classical Piano Repertoire, Marzena also enjoys teaching other styles of music depending on students interests.

My goal in teaching children is to introduce the world of music through a positive and exciting first experience. I want my students to enjoy making music for themselves and sharing it with family and friends.
