I've been playing the sax for 8 years now.  I have studied in the NJPAC Jazz for Teens program when I was 18.  In this program I studied under amazing musicians such as Virginia Meyhew, Don Braden, and Art Martin.  I am currently studying music at West Chester University under the guidance of Dr. Greg Riley.  I plan on completing my undergraduate career as a music education major.

I want students to be able to advance at their own pace, but advancing is key.  Students will master the fundamentals of music, scales.  Students will learn all major scales. When they master major scales, minor scales will be learned. This includes Natural, harmonic, and melodic minors.

For more advanced students, tone quality and different techniques in improving tone will be explored.  Students will study classically at first to build on the fundamentals.  Then later on, if the student is interested in jazz, studying jazz is an option.

I am a passionate musician and expect the same passion in students. I only ask that students practice regularly and continue to improve.  I want students who love music.  If a student loves music enough, they can go as far as the eye can see.
