Judy began her pro singing and piano career at 16 and continued touring and singing shows thruout her college training at Fla. State Univ., getting her BME degree. After that she sang with pop, rock, and gospel groups and has sung  and played piano live and in the studio for more than 20 years as well as teaching during that time.  She continues to write and sing as well as training Cori Yarckin, Sasha Aaron, (both have had their songs on MTV, and Cori just had a song on a Lifetime Channel TV movie, ) and Caitlin Eadie who at 15 years of age will open for the band "Heartland" in Nov. Another student at the ripe age of 8 just won a singing competition in the city of Orlando and performed at the Linda Chapin Theatre at the Orlando Convention Center.

JUDY NOW RESIDES AND TEACHES IN ATLANTA!  JUDY TEACHES PIANO, VOICE, (ALL LEVELS), AND ALSO BEGINNING SONGWRITING. She strives to help her students develop a love and knowledge of music, enjoy their learning experience, and become the best they can be!

At the first lesson, Judy evaluates her students current playing, singing, or writing levels by using a full 30 min. evaluation technique. Then she develops a specific learning program for each student. In piano she determines the best lesson materials and both teaches note reading, tempo and rhythm drills, scales, and other technique. She also has students play by ear as well to further develop their skills. In voice after the evaluation she begins technique drills and exercises on breath control, pitch, tone, eartraining and performance. She then teaches the students to incorporate these skills into songs.

In writing she teaches the creative brainstorming process, development of lyrics, and how to build melodies in the key of C, then more difficult writing exercises. A very important component of her training is identifying the innate talents and skills of each student and helping them see develop those personal talents!!
