About Me
Jerri is a teacher, professional pianist, music/vocal director, choir director, actress, singer, songwriter, and accompanist.
Jerri has been playing piano for almost 50 years. She took 11 years of piano lessons. (10 years technically trained and 1 year of strictly chords and improvisation.)
She has played/sang for many venues (just to name a few):

As a teacher, she is patient, creative, inspiring, and instills confidence in her students. She is also fun and has a sense of humor. Jerri taught music and piano lessons to 4 to 10 year olds at a private elementary school and organized the school's musicals. She customizes the lesson according to each student's level and interests.
Jerri is a songwriter having written an instrumental score for an original adaptation of Alice in Wonderland and an Easter Cantata.
As a music/vocal director, Jerri has performed in more than 25 musicals in the last 9 years. As an actress, she received an Elly from SARTA (Sacramento Area Regional Theater Alliance).
Jerri loves bringing music to the world, helping others appreciate music as she does, and helping others to bring their own music to fruition.
Lesson Details
Jerri enjoys teaching all ages and abilities, from 4 year old beginners, to seasoned professionals, to adult hobbyists. She is a patient, fun, thorough, flexible, and imaginative teacher. She teaches most musical genres, from classical, to musical theater, to jazz, to just plain fun songs. She can prepare you or your child for upcoming musical auditions and provide valuable insight into the community theater industry. Whether you are an absolute beginner, or a professional in need of a knowledgeable coach, Jerri will create a lesson plan suited to your individual learning style, interests and needs.
