Sight reading and piano technique are critically important, as well as music theory.  You will learn to sight read by the use of intervals and melodic lines, which gives you a horizontal and vertical perspective to the music.

Playing with a steady beat and feeling each rhythm is also included to feel the music you are playing.  This gives you a window of interpretation to any new music in which you wish to play.

I will show you how to analyze music to learn on your own, and have an understanding as to what you are doing.  And, of course you want to be creative; here you will learn to create your own music ideas, as well as read the written note.
