      My name is Jeremiah. I was born & raised in Los Angeles, CA & have been playing guitar for over 13 years now. I have played in numerous shows around the country as well as many live shows in Europe. Over the years, I have learned many different styles of guitar as well as many different types of musical composition from all different types of people and genres. I listen to all ranges of music from Jazz to 50's Be-Bop, Led Zeppelin, Richie Valens, Jimi Hendrix, Celia Cruz, Beethoven & John Coltrane. I feel that music can express what we sometimes can't say with words.

     I will be attending the Musicians Institute In Hollywood, CA where I am studying to be a recording artist(engineer)/music composer. I am currently playing in three bands around the Inland Empire,CA and another jam band in the United Kingdom.

     I have taught many students over time, and the one consistent fear & problem they had was "Patience". They feared that like most teachers, I wasnt going to be patient with them. That I was going to be hard on them when they didnt know a certain thing. Thats not what I feel learning guitar is about. I feel that playing guitar should come from the heart and not the mind.

     What I want my students to take from my lessons is a sense of understanding on how the guitar works. How each note functions with one another. How to properly place the guitar pick in your hand to harmonize and sustain a note. I also teach my students basic chord-progression songs to practice their finger strength and dexterity. Each of my students receive a practice homework assignment each lesson so they can practice in between time.
