I have been teaching for over 13 years. My main focus is on drum set with a solid snare drum foundation. I also teach snare drum only for students without drumsets. I also give lessons on congas.

I have been playing for over 25 years. I attended Arizona State and majored in jazz performance. I have toured in over 20 countires and recorded numorous CD's. there are few styles/genre's that i havent some experience with.

My students can expect a laid back and flexible teacher. That doesnt mean that my standards are low, that means i realize that life is unpredictable and things happen. I wont let a student learn things wrong or cut corners for lazy students. My lessons are from books and hand written lessons as well as music the students would have from school or other sources.

Students can expect to know a simple drumset pattern and some basic rudiments after the first lesson. They can expect to be reading sixteenth notes and have a good grasp of basic eigth note rock beats as well as show competantcy with basic rudiments
