Mark, a native of Virginia, relocated to Miami, Florida in 1991.  As a graduate of New World School of the Arts with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Mark has studied with Rodney Nolan Miller and Nikki Li Hartliep, and vocal coaches Kamal Khan, Jeffrey Buchmann & Sergio Puig.

Mark has performed with companies such as Treasure Coast Opera where he made his debut as Borsa in Rigoletto and as Goro in Madama Butterfly in their 2006 season. In 2005 he was a Chautauqua Opera Studio Artist as well as a Palm Beach Opera Resident Artist where he performed the role of Sir Bruno Robertson in I Puritani. Mark has also performed as Rodolfo in Riunite Opera’s production of La Boheme, Canio in the company’s 2006 performance of I Pagliacci, and as Arturo in their 2007 season of I Puritani.  He has performed with Circulo Lirico de la Opera as Jorge in Marina and Beppe in I Pagliacci. Mark performed the roles of Nemorino in L’Elisir d’Amore with Amici dell’Arte and New World School of the Arts, as well as Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi with Miami Dade College Opera Theatre. In addition, Mark was also a Chautauqua Opera Studio Artist Award Recipient and a Palm Beach Opera Competition Finalist.

This young lyrico- spinto tenor possesses the style and vocal power to be the next leading tenor in the world’s greatest opera houses. Mark’s voice is a beautiful, warm, and ringing Italianate tenor sound, perfect for the Italian belcanto repertoire and  Verdi and Puccini works. 

Students can expect a fun learning enviornment which is condusive to an excellent and laid back learning experience. Students will also see results in their singing and playing in as little as three lessons. The techniques used are developmental and adjust to the students levels of advancement.
