About Me

Michelle is a very versatile teacher and musician. Students always enjoy working with Michelle as a student and friend. She is a gifted instructor and will put you at ease with her warm and caring approach to music. Michelle is a professional singer /songwriter and you may have seen her on TV broadcasts both nationally as well as internationally including TLC (The Learning Channel) and 3ABN. Beginners as well as professionals will benefit greatly from Michelle's experience both as a artist/performer and teacher.

"I love working with people who have been told they can't do something, because in truth, it's usually the teachers who CAN'T teach. I have had great teachers, and some not so great, and I remember the very different results I had with each of them, and I long to give those good experiences to others. If you are afraid you are not creative enough or good enough, let me assure you, it more than likely isn't you. It may be the approach you have been given. So given a better environment - I have seen mediocre, turn into most incredible.

Over 10+ years professional experience both performing and teaching. Studied with the Masters at University of Miami. Music & Perfomance Major.

Lesson Details

Voice- Bel Canto, Alexander Technique, breathing techniques (diaphragm), range extention exercises, songwriting, theory, sight singing and ear training. And much MORE!

Piano- scales and arpeggios as well as playing by ear and learning music from classical to rock. Music theory and computer drills that are fun and help student learn by playing games. Songwriting.

Interactive games- aid in all of the above and below.

Guitar- chords, scales, music theory, songs, computer interavctive software songwriting. etc (simular drills as piano but a little different).
