About Me
Hi, My name is Murat. I'm a Cornell math graduate and a current music PHD at Upenn, and I've been playing classical guitar for 10 plus years. I've been giving guitar lessons for about 2 years now, and really enjoy the experience of teaching people. Depending on their interest, I stucture my lessons around either classical guitar or more acoustic styles. I'm originally from Turkey, and play the oud as well as guitar, so I would love to teach oud and middle eastern music to anyone who'se interested. I was a math major in college, although I probably took enough music classes to double major. So, I also teach highschool math, calculus and SAT prep course to those who are interested.
