I play all styles of music from classical to computer and enjoy teaching anyone who's interested! 

I received my music education at Univesity of the Arts in Philadelphia (where I was the recipient of a 'promising artist' grant) and New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City.  

I've studied guitar with many wonderful teachers including Jimmy Bruno, Jack Wilkins, and Tim Cummiskey.  I've also been led in ensembles by the famous bassists Reggie Workman (John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter,etc.) and Cecil Mcbee (Alice Coltrane, etc.).  I've worked on theory, ear training, and piano with Armen Donelian and rhythm and syncopation techniques with Rory Stuart.  I've studied Bel Canto singing and sang in some great venues in NYC, Philadelphia, and throughout the U.S.

I teach guitar, piano, voice, bass, and drums.  Whether you're interest is rock, jazz, folk, metal, classical, flamenco, country, indian, experimental, or digital soundscapes I'm happy to work with you to help you progress and improve.

Lessons are based on student input and are designed to be enjoyable.

Like a versatile musician that enjoys playing in different styles and settings I enjoy teaching with a variety of methods.

The overall feel is laid back and relaxed.

Students should expect to improve at whatever we focus on whether that's songs, singing and playing, sightreading, soloing, memorization, theory, bass lines, improvisation, performance practice, poly-rhythms. or some combination of everything.
