The lessons are student centered. Each student receives an individualized lesson.

Lessons are customizable, but include when possible these components:

1)  new repertoire, foreground and background parts;  

2) ear training;  

3)  rhythmic ear training;

4) scales ;

5) sight reading;

6) improvisation/composition/arranging;

7) performance preparation;  and

8) existing repertoire.

I have the Suzuki certification from the American Suzuki Institute at the U. of Wisconsin/ Stevens Point. I also use traditional studio pedagogy, Kodàly, Orff, Dalcroze, and jazz education methods.
