I teach voice and piano to all ages, and in all styles.  I have 8 years experience teaching both individual lessons and small group lessons.  I emphasize enjoyment in the process of learning the musical language through singing and playing keyboard instruments.

I have a bachelor's degree in Music Performance with an emphasis in Voice.  I also have played piano since age 7.  My training ran the gamut from Classical to Rock.  

I teach 30, 45 or 60 minute lessons.  My emphasis in teaching is emphasizing enjoyment, encouragement and growth of the whole person through music.  Learning to read and utilize the written musical language while also feeling and expressing the music through playing and singing are my foci.  

I will help you learn whatever you'd like to learn and will support you in that at whatever level of work you're able to devote to learning.  The more work you invest the faster you'll learn!

Vocal - I prefer jazz or popular music, and am trained classically as well.

Piano - Focus on learning the written language of music, including sight reading, utilizing a large variety of genres, leaning towards familiar tunes.
