Katrina has studied for 17 years, 9 with Dave Perample - a U of M grad. In addition to competing in piano competition, she performed in Carnegie Hall in 1999. Recently, she enjoys playing a vocal director and rehearsal accompanist with a local high school, where she especially loves teaching young musicians.
Lesson Details
My favorite teachers always knew how to have fun while accomplishing small and large musical goals, and learning should always be fun. Lessons are structured to allow students some direction in what they'd like to study while I provide structure and technical knowledge in a laid back atmosphere. Each student will come up with goals daily and for their practice week, which will keep them on track for appropriate progress over a six month period.
