I was born in Westchester, NY and originally from Norwalk, Connecticut. Music  became an outlet for me at a young age as a cellist in the elementry orchestra. I eventually moved over seas to Ghana, West Africa where I was introduced to other styles of music. When moving back to the U.S.A, I began to use my musical talents towards singing and  songwriting and have continued this interest to this present time. The art of songwriting encouraged me to expand my instrumental abilities and began playing the piano. Now the piano is the main prop the stage used during my performances. I furthered my musical education at South Carolina State University and  I gradutated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry.  Professionally, I have recorded numerous songs and have collaborated with a number of artists. I continue to perform and record to this day.Music is one of my first loves and continues to serve as an outlet and provide continuous enjoyment. As a music intructor I hope to introduce my students to the enjoyment and fulfillment that music can bring.

In my eyes, every student is different and learns at their own pace. I will make sure that the lessons specifically fit the need of the student. In teaching piano my lessons,The John Thompson curriculum will be applied as well as the practice of fingering exercises, scales,music theory and other fun exercises to ensure the enjoyment of the lesson. As the lessons progress, the lessons will progress into more advanced applications and the student will develope confidence in their playing.
